Adding A Page To Your WordPress Site

After logging in to your website. WordPress immediately takes you to your dashboard. We will be making most of our website changes on the “front end,” so here I show you how to find the visit site button that takes you to the front of your website.

Adding A Post to Your Blog in WordPress.

If you are working on a live site you need to know how to work this plug in. You will know if you are on a live site as your web address will be http://www.mywebsite.com. If you are on a test site your site will begin with http://217.199.187.200/yourwebsite.com. Whilst you are logged in the plugin will allow you to see the website, whilst visitors see a coming soon page. Just remember to switch it off when you are ready to go live.

Adding Media to Your Library in WordPress.

Another WordPress tutorial that provides background into WordPress. When we use Divi to add an image to our theme this “media gallery” will pop up so we can add our image. This is a good skill to have if you have lots of photos to add at the beginning of your project. then you can just insert them into theme/website when you are ready.
